Learn Scheme
The Department of Higher Education, Government Haryana
introduced the programme namely “Earn While You Learn” for Govt. Colleges in
2001. Under this programme, the students of various streams not only
financially support their studies but also gain practical experience by working
on different college jobs in library, admin office, labs, etc. which would
stand by them in their later career. This helps the students to gain a
firsthand experience of myriad skills and thereby develop their self-confidence
and personality. Accordingly, the students are encouraged to take up part-time
jobs after completing their regular classes or during holidays which would
enhance their personal rating at the time of final placements.
In Sakshi Malik Govt. College for Girls, Mokhra, Dr. Mahak (Assistant Professor, Economics) is the incharge of the scheme, any student willing to take part in said scheme may contact her for assistant and needed guidance.
